What’s special about Shenfield Day Nursery?
Shenfield Day Nursery provides full day care for children aged 3 months to 5 years, in a homely converted house situated approximately ½ mile from Shenfield mainline station.
Our spacious Nursery allows us to promote a home from home ethos which enables each child and their family to feel relaxed and welcomed. Children are cared for in small groups within a stimulating and caring environment which creates a happy, homely atmosphere that is not overwhelming for the children and addresses all their needs.
We understand the concerns that Parents have leaving their child in someone else’s care. Therefore, we strive to make the introduction to our Nursery as seamless and successful as possible. Each child has a Key Person who is responsible for their care, and the development of a relationship with the family as a whole. We want both parents and child to feel as if they are visiting a trusted friend’s house.
We are proud of our excellent reputation and we strive to maintain the highest standards at all time. We have continued to achieve the maximum rating of 5* from the National Food Hygiene Agency, and as members of the National Day Nurseries Association we keep up to date with the latest developments in childcare.
Our staff are qualified to Level 5, NNEB, BTEC or NVQ Qualified and are subject to Enhanced Criminal Record Bureau checks. Your child will be cared for by a consistent team of ‘key’ staff who specialise in their specific age group. As a small friendly Nursery all our staff are known to the children whether it is the cook or the cleaner who keeps their room tidy. In addition we have two members of staff who have qualified to Early Years Teacher Status (EYTS).
